Dr Michael Walker (BDS,FICD, FPFA) has previously provided training in Singapore, New Zealand and throughout Australia. He is a past President and past Treasurer of the Australian Society of Dental Anaesthesiology (ASDA), Dr Walker is the Clinical Senior Lecturer for Diploma in Intravenous Sedation at the University of Sydney , and is also the external examiner for the Intravenous Sedation Diploma at the University of Sydney. Dr Walker has been a credentialed assessor for AHPRA and currently sits on the Dental Board conscious sedation advisory panel. Dr Walker has been a consultant for a number of state health departments for Sedation and Anaesthesia in Dentistry and has been involved with the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists consultation committee on PS-09 Guidelines for sedation in inteventional medical, dental or surgical procedures. Dr Walker also runs a very busy full time private sedation practice providing Nitrous Oxide sedation and Intravenous Sedation daily.
